By 2050, lunar exploration could include several outposts across the moon. Humans would be spending months, and sometimes, years at these outposts, living on the lunar surface to conduct geological research, mining Helium 3 and launching missions to Mars. Outposts would include specialized vehicles for these tasks, including long-range pressurized passenger rovers, construction and robotics and short range travel.
